Beth Bashem

Beth retired from a career as a project manager with the General Assembly Mission Council of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A) in Louisville, Kentucky. She has over 19 years of experience in project management and business analysis. Beth has taught business communications/technical writing for the Maine Maritime Academy and served as adjunct faculty teaching project management in the Information Technology Department at Southern Maine Community College. Beth also has taught project management courses for Jotul USA, Inc. and Bath Iron Works. She holds a PhD in Rhetoric and Written Composition from the University of Louisville and a Certificate in Project Management Strategy from the University of Chicago. She has earned a global certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute. She serves on the LWVPA Board and was recently elected Co-President of the Board.
