LWV-Piscataquis: Candidate Forum for Dover- Foxcroft

In anticipation of the June 8, 2021 municipal election, the Piscataquis Chapter of the Maine League of Women Voters is sponsoring a nonpartisan Candidate Night in Dover-Foxcroft at Center Theatre.

All declared candidates for Selectman, Assessor and Overseer of the Poor and candidates for Director, RSU No. 68 School Board have been invited to participate. This is a public service offered by the LWV for voters to have an opportunity to hear from the candidates and ask them questions about issues of concern. Co-sponsors of the event include Thompson Free Library, the Commons at Central Hall and the Piscataquis Observer.

The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization that encourages the informed and active participation of citizens in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy. The League does not endorse any political party or candidate for elective office.
