Join us for the third workshop in our Local Action series! In this workshop, we will discuss the potential challenges that might come up as you take action in your community, and how you can overcome such challenges. You will have the opportunity to hear from some fellow Mainers who have taken action in their communities and how they dealt with challenges along the way.
In general, one of the best strategies for overcoming these challenges is to increase the collective strength of your efforts by finding other community members who would like to see the same change happen or by reaching out to individuals and organizations who have taken similar action in their communities. This workshop will give you the chance to practice that strategy of relationship-building through small group breakout sessions with other participants.
