Augusta City Council and Board of Education Candidate Forum

Wednesday, Oct. 4 at the Lithgow Public from 5:30-7 pm, there will be a forum featuring candidates running for seats on the Augusta City Council and the Board of Education. It is sponsored by Augusta First, the Lithgow Public Library, and the League of Women Voters, Capital Area Chapter. It will also be aired live on CTV7. 

The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization that encourages the informed and active participation of citizens in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy. The League does not endorse any political party or candidate for elective office.
