The League of Women Voters - Downeast, together with the Mount Desert Islander and the Bar Harbor Story, is hosting a candidate forum for Bar Harbor Town Council. This event will feature all six of the seven candidates. The forum will be  moderated by Ann Luther.

The event will be a hybrid event, held at the Jesup Library and via Zoom webinar from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. In case you missed it live, a video recording is available here.

Residents are urged to attend the webinar and learn how the candidates will deal with the important issues facing Bar Harbor. 

Seven candidates are vying for three seats on the Town Council. To see what else is on the local ballot, visit the website for the Town of Bar Harbor. The election will be held on June 9, 2026.
