Civic Education Initiative:

Susana Hancock, who facilitates the state league's Outreach and Education team, will be our guest. She will give us an overview of the educational materials and curricula that LWVME has developed, and especially those relevant to civic education. 

What's Happening on the State Level?

Lilli Martin will give us a rundown on LWVME news as presented at the state board meeting March 20th.

 

MIDCOAST BOOK CLUB

Our discussion of Let the People Pick the President, by Jesse Wegman, continues. This month we'll talk about Chapter 3: "Did the Electoral College Ever Really Work?" The Midcoast Chapter will be referencing this book as we join in LWVME 2021 efforts to promote the National Popular Vote.
