Voting with an absentee ballot:
Do you plan to vote with an absentee ballot? Don't procrastinate. The last day to request an absentee ballot is this Thursday, October 30. Due to possible USPS mailing delays, we recommend requesting your ballot online or in-person. After you've completed and sealed the ballots, return them in-person or use a secure ballot dropbox. Most towns will have a convenient dropbox located near or outside the town office. Click here to request your ballot now!
Absentee ballots are due by 8:00 PM on Election Day — Tuesday, November 4.
What if something happens and you won't make it to the polls on Election Day? You can still request an absentee ballot after the Oct. 30 deadline, but you'll need to provide a valid excuse. Excuses include a sudden illness or incident, physical disability, inability to travel, etc. Contact your Town Clerk in the event that you need to request an absentee ballot after the deadline.
